Students transferring to UNC Charlotte will work with the initial point of contact in their department to ensure that all technical and major related courses are accurately applied to their academic transcript. Once admitted, students will be formally assigned to an academic advisor.

Students completing freshmen level courses will be assigned an advisor in the Office of Student Development and Success. Students beyond the freshman year will be assigned an advisor in their academic major.
